GRANBURY — James B. Tate, 91, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2011, in Granbury.
Graveside service: 2:00 p.m. Friday, Nov. 25, 2011, at Holly Hills Mausoleum Chapel. Visitation: 9 a.m. until noon Friday at Wiley Funeral Home.
Mr. Tate was born Mar. 3, 1920 in Whitesborough, Tenn. He married Naolah Hedges in Camden, Tenn. He retired from the Dana Corp. after 40 years of service. A member of Granbury First Baptist Church, Mr. Tate had lived in Granbury since 1996.
Survivors: Son, James B. Tate, Jr. and wife, Barbara, of Jacksonville, Texas; daughters, Kathy Thompson and husband, Roy, of Granbury, Patty Tate of Granbury, Norma Rogers and husband, Jimmy, of Camden, Tenn.; five grandchildren and six great grandchildren; brother, Calvin Tate of Grayling, Mich.; sister, Brooksie Marshal of Tenn.; and several nieces and nephews.
