James Canion

James Boyd Canion, 86, passed away Monday, May 7, 2012, in Granbury.
No services are planned at this time.
James was born July 22, 1925, in Holland, Texas, to Wallace and Maggie Love Canion. He married Jeannine Leonard, June 11, 1948, in Houston. James graduated from Temple High School in 1942 and worked for an oil well equipment company until going into the U.S. Navy in July 1943. After his discharge from the U.S. Navy, he attended the University of Houston and graduated with a degree in Mechanical Engineering in August of 1949. In 1948, he married Jeannine Leonard in Houston. Jim worked for CBI Industries and after his retirement he and Jeannine moved to Glen Rose in June 2005 where they attended the First Baptist Church.
Survivors: Wife, Jeannine Canion of Granbury; daughter, Lore Ramsey and husband, Kenneth, of Glen Rose; and grandson, Jacob Ramsey.
