I have come to know Chris just by random encounter with him while I was working at the plant. He had never passed by an opportunity to greet me. His character had impressed me so as to extend myself and reach out to him just the same. It subtly hits me to my heart that my previous former shift supervisor, his widow Jennifer ("JJ"), whom I have always had a great measure of respect and appreciation for over the years, is to battle with this life-changing event. Y’all were extended family always checking on each other, visiting or just hollering across the yard. I was so happy to watch the loving and proud father you became. Even through your illness, you still kept that sweet smile and fighting spirit. It’s been almost a month since I’ve talk to you two ? . I’ve always been optimistic and full of hope. Chris was also, such a good man who really earned his wings. He was dealt some bad cards but was able to find the love of his life, an angel through this journey that Satan put his hands on. Cancer is the devil’s work. Don’t let Satan win because of the damage he did, God has him. Let Chris life be a testimony as he would wish, the Lord has lifted him to a better place. In Christ name I pray also for his wife, family and friends here on earth may they find peace. RIP Chris
