GRANBURY — James Doyle Partridge, 79, passed away Sunday, Feb. 5, 2012, in Granbury.
Funeral: 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2012, at Wiley Funeral Home. Burial: Laurel Land Memorial Park in Dallas. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Mr. Partridge was born Oct. 25, 1932, in Leonard, Texas, to Jesse Carl Partridge and Clara Minnie Blackwell Partridge. He married Margaret Lawson, Feb. 21, 1952, in Greenville, Texas. He had lived in Granbury since 1999 and was retired from Builders Transport in Dallas. James enjoyed deer hunting and his family was his life. He was a member of the Mambrino Baptist Church, The Oddfellows Lodge and the American Legion. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, a daughter, Frieda Gail Willett, sister, Zelma Wells and a great granddaughter.
Survivors: Son, Roy Lynn Partridge and wife, Helen, of Granbury; daughter, Patricia Rittenour and husband, Gary, of Granbury; grandchildren, Claressa Dawn Escobar and husband, Eugene, Christopher Willett, Jennifer Partridge, Ronie Mask, Johnnie Mask, Jennifer, Mask, Kindra Rittenour, Kaela Rittenour; 13 great grandchildren; sisters, Naomi Brewer of McKinney and Fran Pritchard of Blue Ridge, Texas.
