Tolar –Jan Williams, 79, passed away Sunday, June 19, 2016.
Service: 1 p.m. Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at Tolar Church of Christ.
Interment: Tolar Cemetery, Tolar, Texas.
Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at Wiley Funeral Home, Granbury.
Jan was born on February 27, 1937 to George and Oleene Chrane in Brown County, Texas. Jan and Jimmie Williams met in High School in Tolar, Texas. She married Jimmie on March 31, 1956 at the First Christian Church in Stephenville. Together they raised their two children. Jan was a big supporter of her children in band boosters and any other activities that they were involved in.
Jan loved animals. She enjoyed camping and country and bluegrass concerts. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband: Jimmie Williams, and sister: Shirley Huston.
Jan is survived by her children: Terry (Paul) Moore, Elaine (Aaron) Green, grandchildren: Marston (Nick) Tompkins, Kristin (Andrew) Wendel, Szalan (Ryan) Ellis, Daric (Kayla) Green, Morgan (Buzz) Fry, great grandchildren: Cohen, Caden, Keaton, Quinn, Rylen, Ashton, Declan, Peyton, Bryce, brother-in-law: Ed Huston, sister-in-law: Geneva McDuff, and many nieces and nephews.
