Jana McPherson Cluck

Jana McPherson Cluck was born December 27, 1958 in Sacramento California to Samuel Grant McPherson and Billye Cloyse Phillips. She passed away September 4, 2022 at the age of 63 in Granbury Texas with her husband Steve and daughter Michelle in attendance.

Memorial service will be held Saturday, September 17 at 1:00 at Cedar Point Baptist Church. Potluck reception to follow in the fellowship hall. Address is 21171 Lower Granbury Rd, Bluff Dale, Tx, 76433.

Jana was first and foremost a loving wife, mom, and nana. She loved her kids and they were her pride and joy but being a nana was her favorite role and she was excitedly awaiting the arrival of her newest grandson. She loved nothing more than to be surrounded by her family, laughing, listening to music, and playing games. She could often be found walking her yard and tending to her many plants. Some of them older than her children! She could plant a tire and grow a whole car, she had such a green thumb. She enjoyed cooking meals for her family. Nothing made her happier than nourishing the bodies and souls of her loved ones. She was a much loved member of Cedar Point Baptist Church. Church Sunday was something she truly looked forward to. Her church family always made sure she felt included, even when she wasn’t physically able to make it in the doors. She loved so many people fiercely but none more than her beloved husband Steve. They were high school sweethearts that reconnected later in life and got married on November 8, 2007 in Lakehills Texas. The years they spent together were by far her happiest.

She is proceeded in death by her brother David Earl Logan, sister Tina Sue Arms, and father Samuel Grant McPherson Jr.

She is survived by her husband Morgan Steven Cluck, her children Michelle Barron (husband Jack and their children Haleigh and Dexter), Justin Burrow, and Chance Burrow (wife Haley and their son Mason and expecting a son in March)

Mother Billye Beck, stepfather Leonard “Nip” Beck, step mother Jeanette McPherson, sister Lori McPherson Goodson, Sally Hernandez (husband Ted), brothers Kevin McPherson (wife Jenny), James McPherson, James Lee Owens, and Wesley Lucas. And many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
