Jean Boyd Linderman Osborn, 95, passed away Friday, May 19, 2017, at home in Lake Worth.
Memorial Service: 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 27, at First United Methodist Church of Azle.
Jean was born November 21, 1921 in Medicine Mound, Texas of parents Denny and Irene Boyd. She grew up with brother Hugh and sister Clara in the Dust Bowl and Depression years of the 1920’s and 30’s. After graduating Quanah High School in 1938 Jean attended Texas Wesleyan University in Fort Worth, eventually graduating from West Texas State University, Canyon, Texas, in 1978.
Jean enjoyed a long career as a draftsman, retiring from Phillips Petroleum as Lead Technical Drafter, Eastern Division.
Jean was an accomplished artist, specializing in Southwestern and Indian watercolors.
Jean was married to Ed Linderman in 1940 until his passing in 1965, and remarried in 1987 to Glenn Osborn until his passing in 2007.
Survivors: Daughter: Rene Heerwagen and husband Louie. Grandchildren: John Heerwagen and wife Amy, Jennifer Heerwagen. Great grandchildren: Madilyn and Landri Heerwagen.
Son: Edward Linderman and wife Linda. Grandchildren: Tammy Manicki and husband Logan, Rob Rosenbloom and Jennifer Cutler. Great Grandchildren: Joey Bradley, Breeana Bradley and Anthony Gallegos, Christopher Bradley, Brian Rosenbloom, Nick Rosenbloom, Jeffrey Bradley, Brooke Manicki. Great-great grandchildren: Briseis and Greysen Gallegos.
