Jean Marie Childress, 75, of Granbury, passed away on Tuesday, January 15, 2019. Jean was born on December 18, 1943 in Great Falls, Montana to Joseph and Elizabeth Marko. She loved her family and enjoyed cooking big dinners for them, especially for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved spending time outside and enjoyed listening to music. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband William J. Childress, and a sister: Elieen Drazich.
Jean is survived by her children: James Childress and wife Linda and William Childress, Jr., grandchildren; Summer Lopez, William Childress III, Brandon Childress, Garrett Childress, Laura Ann Yuja, Chelsy Childress, and Micaela Childress, great-grandchildren: A.J. Craddock, Ellisabeth Craddock, Hannah Craddock, Paige Childress, Bailey Craddock, Zoey Childress, Riley Childress, Liam Childress, Gunner Allen Childress, Wesley Childress, and Ethan Bowles, three brothers: Leo Marko, Vince Marko and Jerry Matko, sister: JoAnn Falls and Evelyn Stucker, brother-in-law: Marvin Griffin, and nieces Cheryl Parrish and Sherrie Bishop.
