— Jean Patrice Prettyman, 81, a very loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, died Wednesday, March 7, 2012.
Funeral: 2 p.m. Monday at Trinity Baptist Temple. Interment: Azleland Memorial Park. Visitation: The family will receive freinds from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Biggers Funeral Home.
Jean was born Aug. 10, 1930, in Bird City, Kan., to the late Harvey and Wilma Kellison. She married Arie J. Prettyman in 1948 in McMinnville, Ore., and to this union nine children were born.
Known as Pat to many people, whe worked in the nursing home industry as a CNA-med aide and activity director.
She was a longtime member of Trinity Baptist Temple and a member of Rebekah Lodge. She loved spending time with her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Arie, Sept. 18, 1998; her precious baby son, Harvey; one brother; and two sisters.
Survivors: Leaving to cherish her memories are her sons, Mike Prettyman and wife Melody of Howard, Ohio and Patrick Prettyman of Azle; daughters, Pamela Van Pell of Fort Worth, Rebecca King of Azle, Sharon Callahan of Hallsville, Sheila Murphy and husband Ronnie of Kilgore, Sharla Flores and husband, Jesse, of Watauga, Lisa Prettyman of Fort Worth; brother, Billie Kellison; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
