Jemmy Lee “Scooter” Godsey, age 58, passed away January 16, 2022.

Jemmy was born May 29, 1963 in Cape Cod, Massachusetts to the late Vernon and Lula Mae Godsey.
He was in the Air Force, belonged to the Azle Masonic Lodge, was a past President for the Fort Worth Moslah Shrine Clowns in 2008, past President for TSCA in 2014 and 2nd VP ISCA. Jemmy loved making people smile and his laugh would fill up a room. His favorite saying, “Remember I put the FUN in funeral”.
He is preceded in death by his son, Jemmy Godsey, Jr. and his brothers, Benny and Billy.
Jemmy is survived by his wife, Tawnya of Azle; his daughters, Jennifer of Weatherford, and Catherine and Johnny of Joshua; his sons, Jody and Brandi of Azle, and Ranger of Azle; Nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brothers, Vernon and Juanita of Fort Worth, Charlie and Mendi of Springtown and a sister, Mary Brisky of The Woodlands.
