Bettie - We just learned of Jerry's passing and wanted to express our deepest condolences. Jerry, was always smiling and laughing and had a good time getting in on the football pots at our old store, Gary's Lakeside Store. He was a very good person and will be missed greatly.

My fondest memory of Jerry is back in the day when he lived in Crowley. Many times I came to his house with my trumpet with some issue that I didn't know what it was... And Jerry was the master. He knew and he fixed it for me and I wrote off Jerry was a few years older than me give the shirt off his back if someone needed it. We will miss Jerry! AKA Trumpet
