He met the love of his life, Christy Spurlock, in high school. Their fairy-tale wedding in 2001 set the stage for the amazing life they were to share. In time, they welcomed three precious daughters, Shelby (now 12) and twins Emily and Layce (11). In addition to Christy and the girls, he leaves behind his mother, Kim Jordan Goeppinger and stepfather Gary; father Jerry Easterwood and stepmother Gladys; Grandparents Jess and Margo Jordan, Dolores Wellborn, Rheamon and Portia Lewis, Lois Rippetoe and Roger Easterwood and wife Pat; several step-siblings and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
