Jerry Tom Aly, 76, of Granbury, passed away on Sunday, March 29, 2020. No services are planned at this time. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to https://www.justincowboycrisisfund.org
Jerry was born in Ballinger, Texas on September 25, 1943 to Tom and Janie Aly.
He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and he cherished time spent with his family.
Jerry enjoyed welding for a living, riding horses and training others how to ride and show them. In the 1970’s, he won Nationals for reining in Denver. He also enjoyed showing dogs and once qualified for the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show. In his later years he developed a passionate love for golf, which surprised us all. He was the last of the real cowboys, he worked on the Rocker B ranch, near Big Lake, in his youth.
Jerry was preceded in death by his son: Corey, and a brother: Jackie.
Jerry is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Carolyn, daughter: Karen, sons: Todd, Wayne, Darryl, and Chad, brothers: Jimmy, and Joe, sister: Tonya, and numerous grandchildren.
