GRANBURY — Jesse D. Jeffrey, 77, passed away Sunday, March 23, 2014, in Granbury.
Graveside service: 2:15 p.m. Monday, Mar. 31, 2014, at Dallas – Fort Worth National Cemetery. Visitation: 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Monday at Wiley Funeral Home.
Jesse was born Nov. 10, 1936, in Hammon, Okla., to Allen Welch Jeffrey and Martha Jane Trent Jeffrey. He married Lorene Davis and she passed away in 1983. He had been a resident of Granbury the past 5 years and was a member of Cornerstone Apostolic Church. He loved to draw, decorate envelopes and enjoyed mowing and taking care of his yard. He loved to share with people and was very generous. Also preceding him in death were his parents and a brother.
Survivors: Daughter, Joyce Lightfoot and husband, Mitchell, of Granbury; sons, Joe Jeffrey and wife, Patricia, of Elk City, Okla.; Jesse D. Jeffrey, Jr., Tommy L. Davis of Pampa, Texas; 13 grandchildren; brother, Danny Jeffrey of Altus, Okla.; and sisters, Judy and Tina, both of Altus, Okla.
