GRANBURY — Jewel D. “Judy” Reams, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 21, 2012 in Granbury.
Service: 10.00 am Wednesday at Wiley Funeral Home. Private burial.
Judy was born August 22, 1929 in Shamrock, Oklahoma to Fred Earnest and Ethel Ross Ball. She fell in love and married her loving husband of 65 years, Arthur “Jack” Reams in 1945. He left his earthly home on June 5, 2010. “Together” they raised their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In 1972, they moved to Granbury, where they enjoyed sharing their home on the lake with family and friends. They were members of Thorp Spring Baptist Church for 19 years. Judy was also preceded in death by her parents and brothers.
Survivors: Son: Steve Reams, Daughter: Cindy Jones and, husband, Timothy Bruce Jones, Grandchildren: U. S. Army MSG Timothy Kurt Jones and wife, Erin, Kristi Hale Stevens and husband, Chris, Mikey Hale Spencer and husband, Michael, Amber Jones Weldon and husband, Gil, Great-Grandchildren: Dalton, Karson, Elle, Reagan, Trey, Jonathan, Kaelyn, Justin and Logan.
