Jimmy Don McCleskey, 77, of Granbury, passed away on Sunday, April 29, 2018. Memorial service: 1:00 PM, Saturday, May 5, 2018, Granbury Church of Christ.
Don was born on August 29, 1940 to James and Juanagene McCleskey in Seminole, Texas. He proudly served in the United States Army from 1963 – 1965. He was a helicopter and airplane mechanic and retired from Southwest Airlines in 2008.
Don enjoyed spending time with his family and travelling, he was a private pilot and enjoyed flying, snow skiing, boating, and fishing. He lived in the Houston Area for 40 years and moved to Granbury almost three years ago. He is a member of Granbury Church of Christ.
Don is survived by his loving wife: Darline McCleskey, children: Donny McCleskey and wife Cheri, Diana Jamie and husband Patrick, Dorene Bailey and husband Josh, and John Doelle and wife Rita, 12 grandchildren and their spouses, nine great-grandchildren, and one brother James N. McCleskey of Broken Arrow, OK.
Private burial to be announced at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery, Dallas, Texas.
