GLEN ROSE — Joan Marie Broughton, age 77, passed away on Thursday, June 18, 2015, in Fort Worth, Texas. Graveside service: 2:00 P.M., Sunday, June 21, 2015, at Squaw Creek Cemetery, Glen Rose, Texas. Visitation: 6:00 – 8:00 P.M., Saturday, June 20, 2015 at Wiley Funeral Home in Glen Rose. Joan was born on September 8, 1937 in Jacksonville, Florida to the late Luke and Ruth Marie Rabak Harmon. She was an active member of Rainbow Baptist Church, loved gardening, and enjoyed her grandchildren and family. Survivors: daughters, Margaret Morris and husband, Darryl, and Katherine Sue Smith and husband, Scott; grandchildren, Jeffrey Morris, Addyson Smith, Jadon Morris, Grace Morris, Lindsey Smith and Lauren Smith, special friend, Curtis Bise, and her church family and friends.

Preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Broughton.
