Service: 11 a.m. Thursday, June 23, 2016, at Wiley Funeral Home in Glen Rose.
Interment: Nancy Smith Cemetery.
Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 22, 2016, at the funeral home.
JoDee was born Feb. 14, 1961, in Peoria, Ill., to John and Wanda Hummel Coonce. She was a member of First Assembly of God Church and had lived in Glen Rose since 1992. She loved to write poems and spending time with her grandchildren.
JoDee was preceded in death by her father; brothers, Jimmy Morgan and John Coonce; and son, Chris Shields.
Survivors: Husband, Mike Dooley; daughter, Jolin Granger; son, Cody and wife, Jayne Dooley; grandchildren, Kyson and Zoey; mother, Wanda Coonce; brother, Jeff Morgan; mother-in-law, Louise Dooley; and several nieces and nephews.
