GRANBURY — Joetta Massey, 77, passed away Friday, Apr. 11, 2014, in Granbury, with her loved ones by her side.
Graveside service: 11:00 a.m. Saturday, Apr. 19, 2014, at Tolar Cemetery.
Memorials: Happy Trails Cowboy Church.
Joetta was born Feb. 7, 1937, in Jonesboro, Texas, to Eugene V. Debbs George and Evelyn Payne George. She married Charles H. Massey, April 18, 1953, in Granbury. Joetta was a retired postal carrier. She attended First Baptist Church in Granbury. She took care of her family and raised her children and grandchildren. She took pride in being a military wife. Preceding her in death were her parents, husband and a daughter at birth, Susan Lee Massey.
Survivors: Children, Henry “Chuck” Massey, Deborah Woods, Barry L. Massey, George “Randy” Massey and wife, Kelli, Heather Hamilton, Amy Harrison and husband, Brian, Charley Hamilton and wife, Kay, Tyler Massey and wife, Morgan; nine grandchildren; six great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; sister, Eva Langevin and husband, Jerry; and numerous nieces and nephews.
