John Albert Pena Jr., passed away March 22, 2020, in his favorite place, San Antonio, Texas..
Service: A Celebration of his Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 20, 2021 in Biggers Funeral Chapel.
John was born July 18, 1971 to Albert and Sulema Pena in Fort Worth.
He married Claudia Longoria on June 27, 1998 and they had two daughters, Katelyn and Allyson.
He had worked as a maintenance mechanic for Williamson Dickies for 28 years and most recently at Old Castle.
John was known for always being the life of the party, a loving husband and an amazing dad to his two daughters. He was a great brother to his two younger sisters and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He was a man with a big heart who would always go out of his way to help anyone in need. Anywhere he went, he never met a stranger.
He passed away doing what he loved most, which was traveling to San Antonio with family. His love for San Antonio began early in his life where would later meet and propose to his beautiful wife.
In John’s free time, he enjoyed spending time with friends and family, cooking, fishing, drinking beer and listening to music.
His infectious smile will surely be missed along with his laughter, hugs and his ability to tell a great story.
John was preceded in death by his parents, John Albert Sr. and Carolina Pena; by his grandparents, and an infant sister.
Survivors: He is survived by his wife, Claudia Pena; daughters, Katelyn Raquel and Allyson Kay Pena; sisters, Melissa Alva and Alexis Pena; nephew, Jason Martinez; nieces, Madeline Martinez, Isabella and Ava Alva; family pet, Jax; mother-in-law, Eva Longoria; sister-in-law, Laura Longoria; brothers-in-law, Sergio and his son, Christopher Longoria, Daniel and his wife, Mary and their children, Sophia and Daniel Longoria; numerous family and friends; best friends, Frank Martinez, Freddy Saldana, Miguel “Bebo” Martinez, Steve Landers, and Steve Martinez.
