MEMORIAL SERVICE

John Harney, 64, of Granbury, passed away Sunday, October 7, 2018 at home. Memorial Service: Thursday, October 11, 2018 at 11am. at Triple Cross Cowboy Church.

John was born May 30, 1954, in Ganado but grew up in Wolfforth, Texas. John Edward received his Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Education degree from Texas Tech University in 1979.

He spent most of his adult life teaching Agriculture Sciences in high schools while developing his students into responsible adults. John never had any children but treated all students like they were his own sons or daughters. He was preceded in death by his parents; John Clarence and Vivian Harney.

John is survived by his wife Jackie and two brothers, Travis Hampton of Splendora and his children Chad, Leslie, TJ and his wife Annette, and Jerry Ball of Wolfforth and his wife Susan, and their children John, and Matt.

He will be truly missed.
