GRANBURY — John M. Albrecht, 88, passed away Monday, May 14, 2012, in Granbury.
Graveside service: 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the Indian Creek Cemetery in Seldon, Texas.
John was born July 25, 1923, in Ander, Texas, to Alvin Marcelos Albrecht and Mary Evelyn Dunn Albrecht. He married Winnell Schrimsher, July 1, 1946, in Seldon, Texas. He was a member of the Lakeside Baptist Church. John was a retired school principal and a member of the Retired Teachers Association. He was also a member of the Granbury Lions Club.
Survivors: Daughters, Patricia Ann Hartzoge and husband, Stephen, of Granbury, Deborah Day Marsh of Granbury; brother, Steve Albrecht and wife, Joan, of Dallas; sister, Janette Schmidt of Iowa; sister-in-law, Dorothy Day Wood of Seldon, Texas; and several nieces and nephews.
