John Preston Seahorn, age 77, passed away peacefully March 12, 2022.
John was born December 20, 1944 to Earl Moore Seahorn and Reba M. (Weatherford) Seahorn in Dallas, Texas. He was an only child and was preceded in death by both parents.
He received his bachelor’s degree at Baylor University and upon graduation worked in various labs creating fragrances, before eventually starting a 30+ year career with AT&T. He held many Management roles over the years there, until his retirement in 2015.
As a child he spent many summers at this uncle’s farm in Greenville and would talk about the arrowheads he would find along the river and the general history of the area. He also shared many fond memories of living in different areas of the country on both the East Coast and West Coast, but his travels always brought him home to the DFW area he loved so much.
He had a strong interest in Genealogy, enjoyed singing and spent a number of years in the choir at church, enjoyed police dramas, and was an active member of Tarrant County Paranormal for many years.
His intuitive nature made him an outgoing person who could strike up a conversation with anyone. He will be greatly missed by those who knew him.
In lieu of other arrangements, please consider a donation to the American Liver Foundation.
