Johnny M. “Uncle Bubba” McClurkan, 42, passed away Saturday, April 20, 2013, in Fort Worth.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday in Biggers Funeral Chapel. Interment will be at Azleland Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
John Milton McClurkan Jr. was born in Fort Worth on June 29, 1970, to John Milton McClurkan Sr. and Karon Peacock McClurkan. Known as “Uncle Bubba” by his family, Johnny was a practical joker with a very dry sense of humor that would leave you wondering for a while who the joke was on.
He was preceded in death by his mother on December 29, 1995.
He is survived by his father, John M. McClurkan Sr. and wife, Cindi; sisters, Sarah E. Gonzales, Jennifer Sullivan and Denise Head and husband, Neal; brothers, Joshua Gonzales and Nicholas Drew Coffey; nieces and nephews, John Vincent Gonzales, Hannah Marie Gonzales, Alexis Horn, Savanna Maynard, Chad Horn, Kyson Head, Peyton Head and Lakyn Head; a host of aunts, uncles and friends; and his “special angel,” Zoey.
