LIPAN — Joreen Hightower Weaver, 83, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2012, in Granbury.
Funeral: 11:00 a.m. Monday, Sept. 24, 2012, at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church. Burial: Acton Cemetery. Visitation: 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday with Rosary to follow at 5 p.m. at Wiley Funeral Home.
Memorials: St. Judes Hospital.
Mrs. Weaver was born Feb. 28, 1929, in Fort Worth, to Cato S. Hightower and Agnes Walker Hightower. She married Al Weaver, Jan. 1, 1948, in Fort Worth. She was a member of St. Stephens Catholic Church in Weatherford. Preceding her in death were her parents, brother, and her husband, Al Weaver.
Survivors: Children, Mike Weaver of Granbury, Kathy Weaver of Arlington, Lisa Carkin of Granbury, Chris Weaver of Lipan; grandchildren, Chuck, Adrian, Amy, Aaron, Jennifer, Josie, Aubrey; eight great grandchildren; sister, Janelle McCauley of Lipan; and several nieces and nephews.
