Joey was one of the kindest, funniest, most generous people I ever met.
Although I had not seen him in years, he made a huge impact on my life when I was a teen. He believed in me and found value in me at a time when I didn't find much value in myself.

To the family of Joseph Davis, I had the privilege of being a member of the Class of '92 with Joseph at Azle High School. In particular, we were both in the same AP English course our senior year. I have very fond memories of Joseph from that class. He truly was a gifted individual and I remember I was in awe of his intelligence. I always enjoyed hearing him share in class because he was able to bring a unique perspective to our discussions. Even though he was blessed with brilliance, he was always kind and a humble individual, who never made others feel small in his company. I am truly saddened to hear of his passing at such a young age, for we are the same age. In fact, he was only six days older than me.
May God be with you in your time of grief and sorrow. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
