Joseph David Kayne, 73, of Granbury passed away on Monday, September 21, 2020. Graveside service: 2:00 PM, Saturday, September 26, 2020, Lane Memorial Cemetery, Sibley, Louisiana. Memorials may be made to the Daughters of the American Revolution.
Joseph was born on February 11, 1947 in New Orleans, Louisiana to Edward Kayne and Georgie Lee Cupit. He proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps. He was a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter – Day Saints.
Joseph loved deep sea fishing, creating metal masterpieces, and was an accomplished author. He was a very talented singer, songwriter, guitarist and harmonicist. He was a “beautiful bird in a cage”, now he is free.
Joseph married Pamela Jean Isham on March 29, 1999 in Granbury, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother: Leslie Goletz.
Joseph is survived by his wife: Pamela Kayne, children: Jhenene Wilber, David Kayne, Elena Riddle, Sylvia Mulcady, Joseph Donald Kayne, Michael Kayne, Daniel Graves, and Regina Taylor, five grandchildren, and siblings: Mary Woods, Edward “Buddy” Kayne, Robert Goletz, Sylvia McNew, and Suzy Byerly.
