GRANBURY — Joy Dean McClure, 93 passed away Friday Sept. 30, 2011 at a local nursing home. She was born Sept. 17, 1918 to John M. and Edith Montgomery Seidle in Dewey, OK. Services: Monday, Oct. 3, at 1:00 P.M. at Wiley Funeral Home, Granbury, TX. Burial: Resthaven Cemetery in Duncan, OK. Mrs. McClure married James Henry “Mac” McClure. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and Grandson, Levi Palmer. Mrs. McClure was very active in her church, serving as Sunday School teacher, Children’s Ministry and foreign missions. Survivors: Daughters & Sons-in-law: Cheri and Buford Denton of Granbury, Lynnie and Archie Pounds of Tulsa, OK; grandchildren: Neal Palmer of Azle, DeJuana Latham of Austin, LeGaye Young and Judith Dowd of Tulsa, OK; 8 great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren.
