Joy Dee Rose, 65, passed away on Sunday, March 12, 2017 and went to meet her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

A funeral is scheduled for Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Wiley Funeral Home, 400 Hwy 377 East, Granbury, Texas. Interment: Long Creek Cemetery, Granbury, Texas.

Joy was born on March 23, 1951 in Marion, Indiana. She was married to her husband Johnny for 50 years. Joy spent her life working with her husband and dedicated her life to raising her two sons and four grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking, reading the Bible, and spending time with her family.

Joy had nine brothers and sisters, Danny, Jerry, Jill, Keith, Chuck, and Penny, then David, Dixie, and Jeanie, who preceded her in death. She is preceded in death by her mother and father: Vie Ann Bolden and Henry Evans. Joy is survived by her husband Johnny Rose Sr., of Granbury, Texas; her son: Johnny Rose Jr. and his wife Lucinda of Granbury, her son: James Rose of Mineral Wells, Texas, and her four grandchildren: Jessica, Ashley, Jennifer, and Gunner.
