A Celebration of Life at Azle Deer Cove

Joyce Elaine Smith, 66, passed away Saturday, May 18, peacefully at home.

A celebration of her life will be held at Azle Deer Cove on May 31 at 3:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, Joyce requested that money be donated to an account created at National Bank of Texas in her name. These funds will be used to assist other families with the cost of battling cancer.

Joyce was born on March 2, 1953, in Fort Worth to O’Dell and Wynola Bramlett. They both preceded her in death along with her brother, Wendell Bramlett.

Joyce grew up in Azle and graduated from Azle High School in 1971. She married Ronnie Smith August 28, 1971. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and friends. Her strong faith in God and joyful outlook was an example to all she came in contact with. Joyce was a cherished wife, mother, Mimi, and friend to many.

Left to treasure her memories are her husband, Ronnie Smith; daughter, Amy Rollmann and husband, Brad; daughter, Starla Petty and husband, Johnathan; son, Brandon Smith and wife, Michelle; grandchildren, Grace and Lily Rollmann, Riley, Dakota, and Toby Norton, Carson and Shelby Smith, and Kaitlynn and Jesi Petty.
