Judy Ann Mabbott, 76, passed away Friday, December 28, 2018 surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with leukemia.
Funeral Service: 10 a.m. Monday in Biggers Funeral Chapel.
Interment: 2 p.m. Wednesday, January 9, 2019 in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, San Antonio.
Visitation: 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Biggers Funeral Home.

Judy Ann Mabbott was born April 15, 1942 in Butler, Penn. to the late Rue and Eleanor Snyder. She was a graduate of Indiana State College and received her master’s degree from the University of Pittsburgh. Judy spent 45 years as an educator specializing in speech and special education. She married her husband, Kenneth on May 25, 1963. Judy was a woman of strong faith and was an active member of Lake Country Church. She was very involved in the social circle at the retirement community where she and Ken live. In her spare time she enjoyed crafting, quilting, reading, but most of all spending time with her beloved grandchildren.
Survivors: Husband of 55 years, Kenneth E. Mabbott; children, Trisha Ramsey (Todd), Susan Williams (David), Leanne Miller (Dale), Paul Mabbott (Robbi), and Phillip Mabbott; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brother, Dennis Snyder (Jeanne); aunt, Ruth Haaseth ; numerous nieces and nephews; and dear friend, Paula Gundalch.
