Julia A. Gilliam

Julia A. Gilliam went home to Jesus on Thursday, January 1, 2015.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in Biggers Funeral Chapel. Interment will be in Laurel Land Memorial Park.

With a pure heart and a childlike faith, she loved her Lord, family, friends and New Hope Church family with a deep unconditional love.

She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. She was OUR precious jewel.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Noel Sr. and Pearl Gilliam; sister, Betty and husband, Bill Basham Sr.; brothers, Noel Jr. and Tom Gilliam; nephews, Ricki Basham Jr. and Jeremy Gilliam.

She is survived by her life love and faithful companion, David Swallow; brother, John Gilliam (Carol) and his children, David, Daryl and Amber Gilliam; those closest to her heart and life are Rick Basham Sr. (Myra), Brandi Powell (Stacy), Michael Basham (Andrea), James and Heather Basham, Sheryl Casarez, Shane Smith, Dale Beyers (Shelby), Eric Beyers (Christi), Christa Ivey (Jason), Bill Basham Jr. (Hilda), Daniel Basham (Ashley) and Nathan Basham, Tammy Reedy (Jeff), Noel Basham (Kristine), Shay Basham (Beverly), and Leslie Reedy, Tina Hendricks (Todd), Courtney and Ryan Hendricks, Joe Beyers, Peggy Basham; numerous great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, family and faithful friends; and her beloved pet, Ginger.
