LIPAN — Kamron Allen Melendez, 8, passed away Saturday, Oct. 15, 2011, in Eastland.
Funeral: 2:00 p.m. Friday, Oct. 21, 2011, at the Lipan High School Gymnasium. Burial: Evergreen Cemetery in Lipan. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Wiley Chapel in Lipan.
Kamron was born June 11, 2003, in Bedford, Texas. He was a member of the Lipan First Baptist Church. Kamron enjoyed all sports but loved to play basketball and baseball. He enjoyed the after-school programs. He was preceded in death by his father.
Survivors: Mother, Amanda Mercer of Lipan; sister, Lexie Mercer of Lipan; maternal grandmother, Cheri May of Lipan; paternal grandmother, Lisa Leclerc of Watuga; great grandparents, Nita and Tom Tesdall of Lipan, Gerald and Priscilla Mercer of Haltom City; uncle, Matt May and wife, Amy, of Eagle Pass; special friend, Bryan Barker of Lipan; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
