People say when one of your parents die so does a part of you. I never really understood what that meant until today. I could always ask mom, how did that happen or how did I get this scare and she would always remember. When we would tell her that we loved her. She would always respond “that she loved us more. “ I believed her because the way she loved her family and her friends with her whole heart. A lot of people did know that she was my first valentine and the love of my life. I will miss you mom. ❤️

Karen Safford was a beautiful child of God, who lived her faith, daily. She loved her God, her family and her friends, in that order, and she was true to each one, always. I was blessed to be one of those dear friends and I will cherish her last words to me, forever - “I love you.” I will see you, again, in Heaven, dear friend. I love you!
