TOLAR — Kathy Smith Gray, 35, passed away Sunday, July 22, 2012, in Tolar.
Memorial service: 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 26, 2012, at Wiley Funeral Home in Granbury. Visitation: 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Memorials: Cancer Treatment Centers of America.
Kathy was born Mar. 27, 1977, in Tyler, Texas, to Sylvester and Patricia Lashley Smith. She married Chandon Gray, Sept. 29, 2007, in Tolar. She was always happy and loved to be around her family and friends. Kathy faced tremendous challenges during her illness and still managed to face it head on and keep her faith. She was preceded in death by her parents and her grandparents, Hence and Irene Lashley.
Survivors: Husband, Chandon Gray of Tolar; daughter, Taylor Leigh Marrs of Tolar; sister, Terri Meyer and husband, Aaron, of Tolar; brother, Patrick Smith of Raliegh, N.C.; grandchild, Kylie Dawn Smith of Tolar; step-mother, Donna Reed of Granbury; additional family and many friends.
