GRANBURY — Kay Ellen Scibek, 69, passed away Tuesday, Apr. 8, 2014, in Granbury.
A Celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Wiley Funeral Home in Glen Rose, Texas.

Kay was born Aug. 25, 1944, in Fort Worth, to Edison C. Jackson and Leona Lula Cole Jackson. She retired in 1996 from Burleson State Bank where she was Executive Vice President over the Real Estate Division. She enjoyed traveling, sewing, baking, dancing, gardening and was an avid fisherman with her husband. She was preceded in death by her parents and a granddaughter, Maggie Turner.
Survivors: Husband, Richard Scibek of Granbury; daughters, Kelly Hearrell Olson and husband, Dan, of Walnut Springs, Kristi Hearrell of Granbury; grandson, Jesse Olson and wife, Bethany, of Weatherford; granddaughter, Mandy Olson O’Hearn and husband, Joey, of Walnut Springs; great grandsons, Karson and Kase O’Hearn of Walnut Springs; step-daughter, Julie Dee Thompson of Fort Worth; grandson, Ethan James Thompson of Denison; brothers, Dru Jackson of Crowley, Mark Jackson of Weatherford; sister, Jackie Schlemmer of Kingwood, Texas; aunt, Mildred Jean Shelton of Ranger, Texas.
