Kenneth L. Foster Sr., 82, passed away Saturday, August 25, 2012, in Fort Worth.
Service: 11 a.m. Wednesday at Azle Christian Church. Interment: Azleland Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Biggers Funeral Home.
Memorials: Community Hospice at James L. West, 1111 Summit Ave., Fort Worth, Texas 76102.
Kenneth L. Foster, a lifelong area resident, served in the United States Navy during the Korean War. He retired as a captain from the Fort Worth Fire Department in the late 1980s with over 30 years of service.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Aaron and Verna Foster; a sister, Dorothy Miller; and a brother, A.W. Foster.
He is survived by: His wife, Marie M. Foster; children, Kenneth Foster Jr. and wife, Julie, Karen Jett and husband, David, Kevin Foster and wife, Sheila; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; many friends; and a lifetime full of his “pet friends.”
