Laquita Bruce, our much-loved wife, mother, grandmother and friend, passed away in the late night hours of Tuesday, March 27, 2012.
Graveside service: 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 3, in Ash Creek Cemetery, Azle. Visitation: The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Biggers Funeral Home, Lake Worth.
Memorials: Heartsong Fellowship, Saginaw.
Adoringly known as “Honey” to her grandkids, Laquita brought beauty and laughter to everyone she touched. None who love her will ever forget her enthusiasm for life, her generous, loving nature and her sweet southern drawl of “Love you, sugar,” with her soft encompassing hug.
We have your talent showing proudly in your paintings and Christmas cards, but we will forever miss your energy and warmth until we can be with you again.
Laquita is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Wayne Bruce; her loving daughter, Tina Bruce Johnson and husband, Bill, and their children, Remli Halia, 11, and Raef Ian, 8; her loving son, Bryan Bruce and wife, Angela, and their children, Taylor Nicole, 19, James Dylan, 19, Hunter Mason, 14, and Kaleb Wayne, 8; many relatives; and her numerous devoted friends.
