Lawrence was my first cousin and my first best friiend and we lived next door until we were around ten. He, my sister and I played outside everyday. It was a great way to grow up. We walked to school together every day until they moved away to California. We sure missed him but we would see each other over the years since our mothers were sisters. I loved his sense of humor most of all and he always made me die laughing!! He was a great person and I'm going to miss him so much. Sail on dear friend!!!

Condolences to Jeanna, Teresa, Melissa, Susan and all of the family. You were my first cousin and my first best friend. Even though we didn't see each often I always felt close to you. I loved your sense of humor most of all. I am missing you already but I have memories that will always be in my heart!! Sail on!!!

Larry is my Uncle, God Father, and all around Father figure who meant more to me and the way I was raised than anyone could ever imagine. He helped me through the loss of my grandfather and made me feel important and wanted when I had no other father figure in my life. He was there when I graduated from Marine Corps bootcamp and encouraged me throughout my life to be the best me I could be. He is and always will be the strength I take with me as I make my way through nursing school, and I hope that he will be proud of me as make this journey to a better life.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

To my brother in law who helped me through losing my dad. Was there for me through my hard times and was a proud father figure to my son as he graduated from Marine Corp boot camp. A man that always took time to help and just hang out!

Lawrence was my cousin and very good friend, more like a brother.. to know him was to love him. My sister Valla Whitworth Sandlin and I grew up with him, our mothers were sisters and we felt like we had two mothers.. He was always so much fun to be with.. When we lived in Crane, Texas, we often went to the 'sand hills' to slide down, over and over.. We watched him play baseball, and lead the high school band as drum major. He knew he wanted to be a doctor early in his life, we went rabbit hunting when we were teens, he shot one and discovered it was pregnant, he did a quick ceasarean section and saved the babies.. He was always bigger than life to me.. I loved him dearly and miss him so..
