Lea Ann Poindexter, 57, passed away Friday, October 23, 2015.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, December 5, in Biggers Funeral Home chapel.

Lea Ann was born January 7, 1958, in Kennett, Missouri, to Lawrence and Anna Ruth Holt. She was raised in Kennett and graduated from Kennett High School in 1976. After moving to Fort Worth, she married Johnny Poindexter on December 31, 1985. She worked for many years as a paralegal for the Tarrant County District Attorney’s Office before her retirement.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Anna Ruth Holt, and brother-in-law, Tommy Poindexter.

Lea Ann is survived by her four-legged companion and pug, Andi; husband of 29 years, Johnny Poindexter; father, Lawrence Holt; brother, Larry Holt; niece and nephew, Emily and Jared Holt; mother-in-law, Joy Sheppard and husband, Tom; brothers-in-law, Danny Poindexter, Ronnie Walcott and Randy Walcott; close friend and neighbor, Linda Ludwig; and countless other friends and loved ones.
