Bedtime was a wonderful loving, giving lady with a heartwarming smile. We travelled together to many states on CWA Union business. My prayer are with her family.

Bertine & I worked together in Operator Services. We worked representing many coworkers in grievance meetings as well as spent many hours of our own time meeting with employees. We were close & I regret losing contact. Once she came to my apartment & afterwards, gave me a beautiful perfume bottle from Avon to place with my other perfume she had observed on my dresser. She always was working & helping others. She also made you laugh & smile with the way she looked at things with her humor! Prayers for the family!

When we were both active union members, Bertine and I spent a lot of time together and always laughed a lot. She was a wonderful caring woman. I deeply regret that we lost touch with each other after we retired. RIP, Sweet Lady!

I worked with Bertine in downtown Fort Worth. We were "Information" operators fresh out of high school and so thankful to have a really good job, bi-weekly pay with BENEFITS! I remember Bertine fondly. She was always smiling and laughing and friendly. l was a little younger than Bertine so she had already been working for a few years when I started. I was extremely shy and I remember well her kindness to me as a new employee who didn't know anyone and had no seniority! We know that Bertine was loved by everyone and will be especially missed by her family who she loved very much.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.
