GRANBURY — Lindsay L. Cox, 78, passed away Friday, Oct. 19, 2012 in Fort Worth. Service: 10 a.m. Tuesday at Wiley Funeral Home in Granbury. Burial: 1 p.m. Tuesday in Laurel Land Memorial Park in Dallas. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Wiley Funeral Home in Granbury.
Lindsay was born May 17, 1934 in Locus Grove, Okla. to James L. and Gussie L. Hill Cox. He married Patricia Byrd on May 13, 2000 in Dallas. In his younger years, he played in a band, liked to golf, did woodworking and watched sports. He was the owner and operator of Len’s Electric Fork Lift from 1981 to 1999. He had lived in Granbury since June 2000 and was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Earl U. Cox; sister, Lois Weaver; nephew, E.L. Weaver and a grandchild, Nathan Zientek.
Survivors: Wife, Patricia Cox of Granbury; sons, Tommy Cox and wife, Nikki Allen of Granbury and Charles Wilson and wife, Lisa of Dallas; daughters, Lynda Cox and fiance, Zee Khan of Euless and Cindy Zientek and husband, Darryl of Duncanville; grandchildren, Bryan and Sarah Zientek, Jessica Zientek, Bianca Wilson, Jonathan Wilson, Trevor Heinlein and Raegan Hughes; and great-grandchild, Autumn Zientek.
