This is the day the LORD has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.
Psalm 118:24.
Lenora Ann Duncan passed away January 19, 2020.
Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, January 24, 2020 at Mount Olive Baptist Church in Arlington, Texas. A visitation will begin one hour prior to the service.
Lenora Ann Duncan was born on July 3, 1950 to the late L.B. Duncan and Nadine Young Duncan of Franklinton, LA. In her early years, she attended the best schools in the Washington Parish School System, and she accepted Christ at an early age which provided her a strong foundation in her spiritual journey.
As the baby sister, she adored the comfort and admiration of her brothers.
Ms. Duncan was known for her beautiful smile, lovely singing voice and her enjoyment in her high school speech department. Blessed with twin sons, she relocated to Texas to continue her professional career in the helicopter and the Human Services industries – both of which she excelled with great skill and talent.
Known as the “Pray Warrior” and with her infectious smile and giving spirit, she carried the love and joy of Jesus Christ in her daily walk. Her anointed words of encouragement are truly inspiring.
She enjoyed road trips, fashion, great food and conversation. Most of all, she cherished her time with her family and friends.
She leaves to cherish many memories: her two sons, Dion Magee with her son-in-law, Wendell and Dominic Magee with her daughter-in-law, Aimee; and her four grandchildren, Kingston, Amaya, Ashanti and Kavon; her four brothers, H. L. Duncan, James Earl Duncan, Byron Duncan and Chandler Duncan; her sisters-in-laws, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
