Leon Hernandez

GRANBURY — Leon Hernandez entered into Heaven on Friday, August 22, 2014 in Granbury.
Rosary will be recited at 6:00 PM on Tuesday, August 26, 2014 at Wiley Funeral Home with visitation following until 8:00 PM.
Funeral Mass will be held at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, August 27, 2014 with burial in Granbury Cemetery.
Leon was born on April 11, 1945 In Marble Falls, TX to Miguel and Lorenza Hernandez. He was a warehouse manager for a refactory plant for several years. He married Minnie Suarez on November 18, 1965 in Dallas, Texas. Leon had a strong personal relationship with his Heavenly Father. He was an avid golfer and poker player. He was a very loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and brother. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lorenza and Miguel Hernendez, a sister, Lauranna Estrada, a brother, Cruz Hernandez, his Mother-in-Law, Margarita Suarez and his Father-in-Law, Justo Suarez.
Leon is survived by his loving wife, Minnie Hernandez of Granbury children; Anna Hernandez Lackey of Granbury, Gene Hernandez and wife, Denise of Granbury and Christina Hernandez Barrett of Granbury; granddaughters, Marina H. Menchaca of Mesquite, Crystal H. Bartholomew of Granbury, Dawn Clark of Granbury, Keri Butler of Granbury and Amanda Clark of Granbury, eleven great grandchildren; brothers, Auscencio Hernandez, Guadalupe Hernandez, Catarino Hernandez and wife, Maria Elena,Jesus Hernandez, Abilino Hernandez, Sr., Daniel Hernandez and a sister, Elvira Gonzales and husband, Matias
