Mr. Thomey was born July 1, 1940, in Little Rock, Arkansas, to A.J. and Margaret Thomey. He graduated from Little Rock Catholic High School and served six years in the Arkansas National Guard.
Leonard worked as an elevator installer for 38 years, mostly with Otis Elevators. He was a member and served on the executive board of National Elevator Constructors Union Local #79 in Little Rock. He always spoke his mind and was known for his witty sense of humor, enjoyed hunting and spending time with his two brothers and the many “pranks” that they were known for pulling on each other. He loved his family and friends and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
