GRANBURY — Lester C. “Les” Rosamond, 86 passed away March 2, 2012 at his home in Granbury. Visitation: 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. Saturday, March 17, 2012 at the funeral home. Les was born Dec. 20, 1925 to Jesse David and Ruth Holder Rosamond in Fort Worth. He had lived in Granbury for the past nine years having retired from Conoco. He was a graduate of TCU and served in the U. S. Army. He enjoyed reading, travelling and the casinos. He married Winifred Williams in 1946 and after her death married Mary Frances Brotzman on May 5, 1990. He was preceded in death by his parents and both wives, a daughter, Lesley Rosamond, a brother Thurmon and a sister Ruby Crosson. Survivors: Nieces; Vicki Zavaleta of Granbury, Lisa Williams of Burleson and Risa Ellison and husband Scott of Fort Worth; Nephew; Allan Williams of Burleson; Step-daughter Sharon Silva of Granbury and Great Nieces and Nephews.
