Arsen was born on December 6, 1967 to Lewis Emmit Dorris and Annie Maud Jesso Dorris and raised in the town of River Oaks. Working in the pool industry for over 35 years, Arsen was a hardworking man that loved his job and would work hard every day to make sure his family never wanted or needed for anything. A very loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle, brother, and son, Arsen raised many beautiful children and loved his family more than life itself. He was the type of man that would do anything to help another, including taking the shirt off his back for someone who needed it more than he did. He loved everyone and touched so many people’s hearts. Arsen held a passion for every animal he met and loved all of his pets dearly, especially his Ginger Bug and Titus. He truly was larger than life and a gentle giant who will be missed by many but never ever forgotten.
Arsen was preceded in passing by his father, Lewis Emmit Dorris, and his step-mother, Davida Lavon Jolley Dorris.
Arsen is survived by his beloved wife, Shelly Laine May Dorris; children, Mark Dorris, Billie Jo Morris, Mary Lu Jokisch, Cheyenne Dorris, Cayce Walker, Jamie Dahl, and Dallas Dorris. He
also helped raise four other children from a previous relationship, Jennifer Walker, Christy Sepulvado, Amanda Castillo, and Wesley Sepulvado. Arsen was blessed with 18 beautiful grandchildren. Arsen is also survived by his mother, Annie Maud Jesso Dorris; four brothers: Jimmy Dorris, Jeffery Dorris, Cody Dorris, and Stephen Fowler; and two sisters: Elaine Dorris, and Ann Burns. There are numerous nieces and nephews, all of which were very close to his
heart, as well and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He will be greatly missed by his wife, children, family, and friends.
