Linda Gray Britt, 72, peacefully passed away on June 25th, 2019 in Fort Worth, TX, surrounded by friends and family. Her funeral service will be held this Saturday, June 29th, 2019 at 11:00 AM at the Wiley Funeral Home in Granbury, TX. Denim and Boots, wear’m if you got them.
Linda was born on April 16th, 1947 in Lake Jackson, TX to Mack and Peggy Gray. She married James H. Britt in 1965 and they raised three children together. She later went on to become a business owner of a home healthcare company where she was able to do what she loved, help people. Linda had a sweet, gracious and generous servant’s heart and loved to take care of both people and animals, even at the expense of herself. She spent the last several years living out her dream on a large farm in Tolar, TX.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Mack and Peggy Gray; husband: James H. Britt; and son: Curtis Britt.
Linda is survived by her two children: Tim Britt and wife Ramona, and Rebecca Akers and husband Lee; granddaughters: Larissa Wilson and Amanda Akers; great-grandsons: Canon Wilson and Hudson Wilson; brother: Larry Gray and wife Pam; best friend: Lonnie Bradshaw; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.

When my husband was in need of personal care while in hospice, we were so lucky to meet Linda and receive help through her. So sorry to hear of her loss.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Rebecca, you definitely aren't grieving alone. You and your family are on our hearts and in our prayers.

Rand and I first met Linda at the 50th Anniversary of Dale and Lela. Linda was gracious and approachable. Our paths crossed several times over the next 29 years at holiday gatherings of the Akers, often at Lee and Rebecca’s home. Linda will be missed by all of us. Rest In Peace sweet lady.

I met Linda & Jim years ago trailriding. We had fun conversations about our Labrador retrievers. She was a devoted lady to her favorite causes. Bless her family ❤️

She had such a beautiful, warm smile. Really a lovely woman and we will miss her.
