Linda Flickinger Styron, 75, a Granbury resident of 50 years, passed away on Friday, October 13, 2017. Service: 2:00 PM, Sunday, October 15, 2017, Wiley Funeral Home Chapel, Granbury, Interment: Holly Hills Mausoleum, Visitation: 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM, Saturday, Wiley Funeral Home, Granbury.
Linda was born February 21, 1942 in Hollywood, California to Bill and Sue Flickinger. She dearly loved her children, grandchildren, and great- grandchildren.
Linda was very creative and artistic, which was evident in her cake decorating and flower arrangements. She was proficient in needlework, counted cross-stitch and crocheting. She also taught knitting classes. She won a decorating award for “My Lady’s Needlework” in Granbury at Christmas.
Linda loved plants, gardening, wind chimes, and KK the dog. She was a member of First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother: William Keith “Butch” Flickinger.
Linda is survived by her husband: Bobby Styron, sons: Brook Styron and wife Nancy, Bret Styron and wife Debbie, and Kent Styron and wife Kelli, grandchildren: Brandy Styron, Sarah Styron, Brice “Roper” Styron and wife Sydney, Karsen Styron and Kyle Styron, and great-grandchildren: Ruger Dunkin and Sadie Nicole Styron.
