Linda Gale Lyon (Hankins) of Bluff Dale, TX, passed away on Friday November 12, 2021 at the age of 66.

 

Linda is survived by her husband, Kenne Lyon; her children, Chad Lyon, Seneca White, Cheriba White, and James and Heather Nowlin; her parents, Chris and E.L. Leatherman; siblings Darlene, Sherry, Dale, Pokey, and Jerry; eight grandchildren, one great-granddaughter, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Dale Hankins Sr. and sister, Christy Atkins.

 

Linda was born on August 2,1955. She married her husband of 37 years, Kenne Lyon on February 27, 1985. She was an active member of Bluff Dale Baptist Church and was well known throughout her community.

 

Services are scheduled for 2 pm on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at Bluff Dale Baptist Church. Her son, James Nowlin, will officiate the ceremony. All are welcome to attend the celebration of Linda’s life. Graveside service will be held at 11:30 am on Monday, November 29, 2021 at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Wiley Funeral Home, Granbury.
